Born in Queens, New York, Adrián Suar became one of the top references of Argentine television based on the development of somewhat revolutionary products for the medium, which were thought, created and produced in his production company, Polka.
He arrived in Argentina in 1970, as a young man he was surrounded by a family environment very committed to creativity. At the age of 13 he showed up for a casting and won a small role in the weekly program “El papa de los domingos” (Dad on Sundays). Since then he would never leave the entertainment world again.
He entered the world of audiovisual production in 1994, founding, together with Fernando Blanco, the Polka production company, which has now positioned itself as the number 1 in regard to fiction production. The successive products generated by Polka had an excellent impact on the public, not only for the stories told but also for the quality of the visual invoice, an imprint that is maintained over the years.
In 2001, he became Programming Director of “ElTrece”; position he currently holds.
He has won several international awards and has been distinguished as a prominent personality for his contribution to Latin American culture. Likewise, every year his numerous productions are distinguished with important awards of a local nature, such as the "Martín Fierro Awards" and the "Tato Awards".
